Clear skies upon take off

So hello to you on this cold but sunny day! Primarily because of a friend-imposed deadline (hi Katie!), I'm setting up house here so I can attempt to halt the complete atrophy of my writing, communication, and social skills. Once upon a time, back when these things were called "online journals", I was quite an enthusiast. Now I'm not sure yet what kind of tone this will take on or if I can even write coherently anymore, but that's all about the process, folks.
